Learn how you can improve the environment and your health with the location of your house.
Choosing a Previously Developed Site
The location of your house can preserve undeveloped sites, and focus or target previously developed sites. This way, you will preserve green fields and benefit from existing infrastructure. Locating your house or building on a site that has been previously developed will help preserve the green fields, prime farmland, and protect habitat for species that may be threatened.
The benefits of choosing a site that has been built on before means you can benefit from the existing infrastructure such as electricity , gas, and water, therefore less time and energy will be spent in this criteria.
Proximity to Alternative Transportation
The age of the importance of owning a car is long gone, instead we should be focusing on utilizing and experimenting with alternative transportation to protect and reduce our affect on the environment and climate change.
Choosing you building’s site and location with the proximity of alternative transportation networks in mind can greatly reduce your carbon footprint and boost your physical activity.

Choosing your site based on proximity and connection to amenities and facilities such as restaurants, cafes, sports clubs, parks, can greatly boost your physical activity and enhance your productivity.
Being a walking distance from facilities such as markets and parks, can enhance your physical activity and build a sense of community and a space to meet your neighbors to connect with them.
